My Services
Standard Tuning
A standard piano tuning involves adjusting the nearly 200 string to the correct tension so that the piano has the perfect pitch and sound.
This service also includes a general inspection of the piano for any mechanical malfunctions that could effect play and sound like sticking keys.
Typical time for a standard tuning is approximately 1 hour.
Their may be a small mileage fee for longer drives for all services.
Price $90
Standard Tuning with Pitch Raise
Pianos that have not been tuned in many years require extra work. A pitch raise is the process of first bringing all the notes close to pitch, then doing a final more precise adjustment. This process takes longer then a standard tuning. Please note, pianos that have not been tuned in a very long time often need a second tuning within a few weeks of play.
Typical time for this service is 1.5 hours
Price $120
Technical Service
I also offer tech work for my clients. This can range anything from fixing broken hammers, sticky keys, or an inspection of a piano you wish to purchase. Please contact me with what service you may need and I can give you a quote on what I think it will cost to do!

Hi, I’m Chase Higginbotham. I have been tuning pianos for over 4 years. I discovered my passion for piano work through the guidance of a master technician with over 50 years experience in the trade.
What I love most about this trade are the pianos and the people! I enjoy meeting and getting to know my clients and hearing the story about their piano. Whether I’m tuning a beloved family piano or servicing a professional instrument, I take pride in making each one sound and feel its best.
I was born in Missouri but lived most of my life in Iowa. I moved back in 2020 to be close to family and never looked back. When I’m not working on pianos, you’ll likely find me, spending time with my wife, our friends and family, and my 3 Siberian cats!
